We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager.
Project Manager
Office Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement and construction specialists and other project support staff.
- Manage transmission and distribution related projects.
- Some projects may be EPCM.
- Manage staff and subcontractors to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Develop, track and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Identify and Manage Project Risks.
- Manage change control of Project.
- Authorize all commitments of expenditure on the project and approve payment of invoices.
- Provide Leadership to the Project Team
- Prime interface with client and other shareholders
Qualifications:
- A degree in electrical engineering. High voltage experience is an asset. Other professional qualifications will be considered coupled with relevant experience.
- Experience in the engineering consulting industry is an asset.
- EPCM experience will be considered a definite asset.
- Eight (8) years or more relevant experience as a Project Manager.
- Ability to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada is an asset.
- Experience with industry related scheduling systems (MS Project, Primavera etc) is an asset.
- Experienced in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel).
- Must possess good interpersonal skills.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Valid Passport (required for possible travel).
